One project.
Every engineering layer.
The Perimeter Ground Sensor is an in-house example of BSW TECH’s ability to develop a physical device and the connected software around it. The project combines seismic, acoustic and magnetic sensing with on-device event processing and LPWAN connectivity.
The product concept supports perimeter awareness for infrastructure, industrial and logistics sites, agriculture and unattended assets. Potential dual-use applications are assessed for the intended customer and context.
Inside
the design.
The open CAD view shows how the electronics sit within the enclosure. It brings PCB and mechanical design together in one view — a closer look at the engineering behind the product.
From the complete device to the assembly inside, these models help communicate the design before physical production.
Sensing & enclosure
A ground-mounted multi-sensor device with an integrated spike and enclosed electronics. The closed CAD view shows the overall mechanical design, including the enclosure and ground spike.
On-device processing
Embedded processing brings sensor information together for event detection and classification. The project illustrates hardware and firmware developed as a single system.
From event to awareness
LPWAN connectivity, server-side event handling and mobile alerts connect the device to the people responsible for the site.
Protective applications.
Requirements differ between a farm, an industrial yard and an infrastructure site. Deployment suitability, environmental conditions, system integration and availability are discussed for each application. Discuss system requirements, validation needs and availability directly with the engineering team.
What this project demonstrates
Electronics integration, enclosure development, embedded software, connectivity and the supporting application experience — brought together by one engineering company.
